The buttons are all nice and clicky, though the volume buttons are a bit higher than I'd prefer. The phone is well built, though the glossy plastic back picks up smudges easier than I'd like. I've always typed on phones with both of my thumbs, and I had no problems adjusting to typing on this screen. The display gets bright enough for comfortable daytime viewing, and dim enough that I'm not straining my eyes late at night.

The software itself is Android 8.1 Oreo with the June 2018 security patch. Better yet, I'm glad that I can hide the buttons when I'm in an app, so I get more usable screen real estate. I'm one of those monsters that likes having the back button on the right side, so I'm glad I can rearrange the navigation buttons. I'm used to the vanilla software that Google ships on the Pixel line, but I do appreciate some of the additions LG has made. The Facebook app - which is installed out of the box - was slow as molasses, but I'm willing to blame that on Facebook instead of LG. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 and 3GB of RAM power the phone well, and I had no issues with most apps slowing down. Mid range phones have been getting better and better as hardware improvements trickle down to the lower prices, and the Stylo 4 continues that trend. This toom me almost 45 mins to write because of the keyboard and phone shutting off.The best thing the Stylo 4 has going for it is the performance at the price. Writing this comment on here about made me smash this thing so hope you get the msg. I csn receive incoming but when i call someone it rings all the way through and to voicemail, a few days later the people will have to write me on fb and say hey i just got a voice mail from you today.lol i called a week ago onces.the only app that works okay on this phone is fb other then typing because keyboard. I never ever ever receive any txt i am sent so they all get screen shotted and sent through fb witch ive learned to live with. It is very slow glitching alot to where it freezes up and you have to turn the screen off snd try your hardest to get it to come back on.

I am happy with the little things in life so i don't complain about much this is very anoyying. Its very rare for me to be able to type a whole sentence before it disappears and i have to wait. After the first month the keyboard would not stay up for a whole word it would disappear and i would wait it would come back and i would get a letter in and it would disappear again and so on. Took me nearly and hour to write just this small paragraph with the keyboard glitching out Would not recomend getting this phone its horrible. Also it crashes apps and simple tasks are made impossible. Whenever i try to call someone it rings through all the way then goes to voice mail, i tried calling my house phone to be sure, and sadly it ringed half way through the first ringing set and then went to voice mail. Another flaw is that i cant send calls or take calls because of the speaker and mic quality. One of the things that frustrate me the most is that there are no cases and the pen does not have a tracker. I have to keep it on 0% brightness and close apps constantly as well as having to keep off most added features (which dont even work half the time anyways). It takes a very long time to charge and the batter drains from 100% to 15% in less than 40 minutes. moreI baught this phone about a month ago and it was good at first and i was happy with the design and cheap price.However, now the phone turns off repetedly and the keyboard glitches out to the point where I want to smash it on the ground.
